Talking about Bedbug invasion, it is only people with experience can be able to comprehend. When Bed bugs invade your home it is usually a crisis as it is one of the stubborn parasite that exists on earth.
Those that have experienced this beg bug crisis can attest to the distress it can cause after it bites, the itchiness and swellings it can cause to the body. Hmm my experience with this devil insect calls a huge prayer point not to repeat itself.
The invasion started when I went for camping with my dad in a village in Nsuka and with took our camping bed alongside with us. Little did we know that bed bug rules the area and also it posses this annoying after killing it, because you go saying na mosquito but the Odour it dishes out, pain and distress it cause you will make you differentiate between a mosquito and this devil's insect.
After the 3 days of camping, we started making preparation to head home. Mind was seriously telling me not to go home with this bed, mumu me !!!!!😭😭😭 I gave deaf ear alongside with my dad who is already to tell you how much he brought the foam before I was born.😏
Listen did we know that in the Bed bug’s world, they already sent their young ones to camp also on the same in my house. When i came back home, 4 days after, I started perceiving the same smell I perceived back at the camping venue and that was when I knew that calamity has landed.
As time goes by, it became so obvious that I slept inside a tappolin cover just to escape bite. The rapid spread of this insect was faster than wild fire as it took over my room, sitting room, door frames, all hidden wooden area. It became out hand and embracing because people can no longer visit. The last visitor came and while she was going, I saw her scratching her buttock heavily.
People started Suggesting different kind of remedy like; otapiapia , which made then grew strong, Sniper, which was like a predator drink, even powder, which the female bugs use as their Make up, giving chance to lay millions of egg.
The invasion come become too much sotee you no fit come my house or one must follow you home.
Finally!!! I went into deep research and I realized that bed bugs are allergic to heat.
So I start making plans for this battle, ( na real battle o). First I removed every appliances and accessories water can damage, I boiled a full drum I water and made it reaches boiling point, I added raw hydrogen chloride acid alongside with acid battery
I started pouring them on here hideouts such as door frames, foam, chairs, bed frames making sure the was chicken peeling standard. I brought the foams outside and washed them thoroughly with substance.
I left them outside for proper monitoring, inside and out. And from that day hence forth everywhere came to normal.
MORAL LESSON: Truly, a dirty vicinity can give rise to Beg bug invasion, note that a clean environment is not exceptional as you visited their territory unknowingly, you must collect.
